Friday...who would have thunk it

Even with all of the chaos that is my typical world, the weeks tend to drag.  I look at the calendar, and it is *only* Wednesday, and I have already dealt with enough to last for 3 weeks.

But this week, even with my heat scare, 2 doctor appointments (both routine stuff, just trying to take care of all those things for the year while I am still here), scouts, and the usual work-house-kids type stuff....this week FLEW.

A few nice things even happened this week:

  • Warmer weather, and the snow is melting!  I can even see the edge of the grass!!!
  • Bossy earned his Pets Merit Badge for scouts
  • "Apology" bagels on Wednesday from the boss (he has been in a BAD mood and taking it out on everyone!)
  • Pseudo complement from boss on Thursday
I have a very long list of stuff to do, and I am going to try and get through it today and tomorrow, and have Sunday "off."  Bossy has a full day scout event, and I would like to spend some quality time with Sassy.  She is starting to turn into a moody tween....gotta catch her before she is full blown teen!

So far, no showings for the weekend, but I usually get a call on Friday.  I am really hoping that the showing is for tomorrow....I really want Sunday to be a chill day.

But yeah....it is Friday already!  Happy Friday!

  1. Happy Friday! This was a long tired week for me. Losing that hour of sleep was felt all week.

    1. Not sure I would go so far as to say lately...but definitely feeling positive today.

Finances are as in control as they can be for the moment. The move will take a little while to settle from...but I am happy that we basically have the cash for it.....even though I would LOVE to just pay a huge chunk of debt!

  3. My daughter is turning 17 in April. The moodiness some days is unreal!!! Totally unpredictable too. The fun never ends around here! Her 13 year old brother has outgrown her so she isn't quite a snotty to him these days. She is 5'2 about 98 lbs and man you don't want to mess with her! :)

I wish you calmer waters ahead.

    1. Sassy will be 13 in August. She is almost 5'5" and 92 lbs. The moodiness is newer to us, but when she gets going....good grief.

      I need some calm water!
