An anxiety ridden day

My good friend, L, is about to lose her mom to brain cancer.

Her mom was diagnosed 5 years ago, and has under gone 3 major surgeries, numerous chemotherapies, and various other things.  She was originally given 18 months to live....so the extra 3.5 years she has lived has been a bonus for all. She had her last surgery back in February/March, and after a less than productive stay in a Rehab facility, she came home in April/May with Hospice.

The hospice nurse was there last night and told the family it would happen in the next day or so. Please keep my friend and her family in your thoughts today.  It is going to happen any time now.

  3. I am so sorry, even though you know it is best and you long for them to be out of their suffering, you would give anything for one more day.
