Thought I would show you the slow starts to my front yard garden. When everything is really blooming, I will share more. My Peonies are
budded, but as you can see, the rest of the garden is still small. And I hope to have some veggie garden pics to share too.

On to the chit chat....
Reading? I am still reading "Nice Wives Finish First" by Patricia Anne Phillips. I am about half way through. It is ok. Nothing great. That may be why I am only half way through.
Watching? Not sure tonight. I am not really in a TV watching mood.
Listening to? Sassy is watching Planet 51 on Cartoon Network. Bossy is playing Angry Birds (while wearing his Angry Birds PJs). And there is a dog barking that will not STOP.
Cooking/Baking? Tonight was chicken enchiladas with green chile sauce. Yum.
Happy you accomplished this week? Oh my...this weekend was errand after errand after errand. I think I got them all done for the moment, and that tomorrow I won't have to go far. I can't even list everything...in total, we went to 10 different stores...and one store we went to 3 separate times!

And yes, I know we are doing things a little out of order...it really should go ceiling, walls, carpet. But we are under a time crunch, so we have to do the best we can.
Thankful for today? Reconnecting with G-man. We had a "date" on our back deck on Friday night when I got home from bookfair. A bottle of wine, some cheese and crackers. It was lovely.
Have a great week everyone!!!
I wish I had a green thumb like you do!! The only reason why I have so many flowers is because they were here when we moved in...lol! I don't even know what a HOSTA is... I assume one of the pants though. lol! Nice that you & gmas had a "date at home"! Cheap & effective! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the color of the rug! Keep an eye out for older bureaus at flea markets or thrift shops they are so much sturdier. I usually get them then give them a good cleaning and waxing.
