Sunday Night Chit-Chat - April 29, 2012

Another Sunday Night with our Chit Chat hostess with the mostest....Carla!  

I really need to stop trying to make my life look like Pinterest....or maybe that should be my new job!!

Reading? Nothing at the moment.  Need to hit the library this week.

Watching? Tonight I think will be "tween/teen" tv...Vampire Diaries, Secret Circle, and Glee (all complements of my DVR).

Listening to?  When I started this post it was Team Umizoomi.  Go Shooting Star!  But now I am listening to Handy Manny Wedding Episode.

Cooking/Baking?  I have been BUSY this weekend.  I cooked a whole chicken in the crockpot yesterday and made pulled chicken BBQ.  Yum.  I attempted to make stock from the bones, but alas....they had already given all they had.  My stock was more like water with a hint of chicken.  It ended up trashed.  As a bonus....I baked my birthday cake!!  It is in the freezer for a few days.  Here is how it is looking so far:

Happy you accomplished this week?  Not sure about the week...but I made up for it today.  FIVE loads of laundry, cleaned the bathroom top to bottom (including scrubbing the shower), cleaned Bossy's room, a pile of dishes a mile high, and baked the cake.   I ran errands all day yesterday, and got a dress for the wedding.  I am not sure this is THE dress, but I have a few weeks if I change my mind.







Looking forward to next week?  My birthday is coming, and I am trying very hard to be positive about it.  Plus, we don't have too much "extra" stuff going on, so hopefully the week will just play out.  Oh, and of course...the big reset of the numbers!!!

Thankful for today? That my kids have been SO well behaved.  I was able to get an incredible amount of stuff done without interruption.  It certainly helps set the tone for the week.
