Sunday Night Chit Chat - March 5, 2012

So pretty.....for the garden....

Reading?  I am reading Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, but only have about 30 more pages.  A reader last week said that all the Shopaholic books are similar, and I have to agree.  But I love how light and fluffy they are.  I plan on getting the next two from the library this week.

Watching?  Tonight I want to watch the last two weeks of Smash.

Listening to?  At the moment....Family Game Night.  But in my head for some reason...I am hearing the theme song to Eight is Enough.  Go figure.

Cooking/Baking?  I made "breakfast for dinner" tonight.  Stuffed french toast (with cannoli cream), bacon, and fruit salad (yummy, yummy).

Happy you accomplished this week? Finished shredding the big box of stuff I cleared out from my office.  I still have more purging to do, but at least part one is done.

Looking forward to next week? Light homework!  The kids start standardized testing on Tuesday, so on test days (T,W,Th for the next two weeks, plus one more T), they don't have HW!!  *happy dance*

Thankful for today?  That my husband has been noticing my efforts around here, and is finally "getting me."

Hope everyone has a great start to their week!!!!

  3. I was able to read maybe two and a half of the shopaholic books before I got annoyed with how selfish and narcissistic the protaganist is. The first one was entertaining, but it's hard when they don't learn the lesson and just keep making the same mistakes in book after book. It's too much like my real life! (ha)

I'm at a point with decluttering that I have no idea what to work on. I could do the kids' boxes in the basement or try to tackle the kitchen or clean out the filing cabinet. All of those things bore the crap out of me though. I will probably just end up sewing some more and not worrying about what my house looks like until my parents come next month!
