Broken Record

I have nothing to say.   I am not posting, because I have nothing to say.

Still no job.  Definitively did not get the job from a few weeks ago.  They went with someone who came from the same type of company because they thought it would be an easier transition.

G-man didn't get his job either.  They selected someone who is already doing the same job in a different office.

Sassy is continuing to self sabotage.  She just refuses to learn.

Bossy is good....

I miss my cat.  I am getting over a cold, and had a migraine earlier this week.

Working on our taxes...the program is pulling information from somewhere and we can't figure out where, but it is incorrect and we can't figure out how to fix it.

Broken record.....

  1. I'm sorry things are not looking up yet. I may be able to help with your tax program problem though. You can override fields in some of the programs by right clicking on the amount and then choosing override this field. The program may not allow you to efile if you do so though. The other option is to go back to the first few screens of the input and unclick the import prior year info box.

    1. Thanks for the tip, however it isn't importing a number. We put our current Residence as SC, and previous residence as CT. And that we also made $ in NC. It is saying we lived in NC and wants dates. It is overriding the CT time. We are trying to file as nonresident for NC, but it won't let us.

    3. Yeah Unfortunately the home software programs are not flexible enough to handle such things. You may need to do them the "old-fashioned" way with paper and a pencil.

  2. Chin up. At least itr not snowing!

In all seriousness, accept my heartfelt and empathetic best wishes. One of my brood is self sabotaging (good term) too. The kid who has everything going for him too...the only challenges he has are the ones he's making for himself. ::sigh::
