RESET is done

As I was adding up the total....I was soooo hoping it wouldn't hit 80k.  But those $2 put it over.  I am not too too upset, as several items will get paid within a week, bringing the overal total back down.  Still, here it is.

The credit cards....CC4 had the lowest interest rate, so we if we had to carry a balance for a month or two, that would be the way to do it.  We plan on killing this one ASAP.

Medical....this one is going to continue to go up and down.  In the next 6 weeks, I will get my crown, Sassy has a consult with the oral surgeon, and Bossy has a GI appointment (and they no longer take our insurance...we have to figure out what we are going to do long term about this).

I am still working on the household budget.  We have only made one payment to the retirement loan, and we are still carrying other balances.  We are still deciding if we should keep padding the EF, put a bulk amount there....put more in Car maintenance.  Decisions, decisions.

So there it is, in all its ugliness.  I look forward to watching these numbers go DOWN.

  2. That was a lot of numbers to do, I am sure. Glad you will be able to zero out all of those CC's and work on your retirement loan. Hope the medical expenses dont creep up too high this summer!

  4. Well, you may not like the number, but at least it is a nice, round starting point, and any number under it will look better!

  6. This will be so much easier. What do you mean they won't take your insurance?
