Just keep swimming....just keep swimming

Anyone who has a kid, or was a kid.....probably has seen the movie "Finding Nemo."  Cute flick.  Bossy loves it, so we have seen it a time or two.  :)

One of the characters, Dory, has a line that says "Just keep swimming....just keep swimming."

Tru dat!  Right now, that is what we are doing.....just trying to keep going.

G-man and I are on talking terms, and had a discussion last night about schedules and finances.  I brought up several subjects that made him uncomfortable.  And he just hung his head.

Again, I soooo want to blog about all of this, but really can't.  Let's just say that some of the items we discussed he just never thought about, and I am in survival mode, so I am trying to look out for myself and the kids.  He said "but I would never do that."  The list of things I thought he would "never" do has changed considerably, so that means nothing right now.

The bottom line is that I will continue to pay all the bills, in the minimum.  I hate that, but for now, it is the best option.  At some point we will have to have a new game plan, since everything went out the window.  But that is the best we can do for the moment.

The kids and I are ok.  Emotionally bruised and battered, but we are ok.

  1. You are very wise to recognize that his boundary lines for 'I won't do that' have, and may continue to change.

  5. When I was little one of the nuns used to tell us every day "sink or swim children, sink or swim it is your choice, but I for one intend to swim. I have often said this to myself over the years. Just swim.

You are in my thoughts and prayers

  11. Mysti,
You are wise to be cautious. Just keep swimming is a great analogy, as you will reach your destination, whatever that is. Stay strong. My thoughts are with you!
