That I don't really talk about Sassy Girl much. In all honesty, I didn't think I talked about Bossy Boy much either, since this blog isn't really about them. And most financial things that I talk about, usually reference "the kids."
So, as a side bar to PF, and as an homage to the poetry unit they are doing at school....here is an acrostic poem about my daughter:
Sensitive
Amazing
Sweet
Sunshine
Young Lady
Growing so tall!!
Intelligent
Rambunctious
Loves Nature
She is an amazing kid, and has been since the second she was born. Her real name means "fighter," and at 1 lb, 3 oz when she was born....it fit her perfectly. She was Little Miss Freshy in the hospital, because she always was getting into trouble (she loved to pull her breathing tube out!).
She has lived in her brother's wake for her entire life. She has been dragged to more doctor appointments than I can count. Missed Christmas at 3 yrs old because of her brother's surgery. Has had to leave performances, concerts, and other community events because Bossy just couldn't handle it. And she is just now realizing "that's not fair!"
She has the intellectual capacity to do anything she wants. She is a smart cookie. But she loves nature and is a free spirit. Her life ambition is to be a nature photographer (although she has never taken a picture! But she draws TONS of them).
I always joke that she should have been born in the Fifties...so she could have been a teen/young adult in the 60's. She would have loved Woodstock. My hippy dippy girl.
I am probably biased, but she really is a great kid. So polite. So loving. So Sassy!! I love her more than I knew was possible, and am so Blessed to have her in my life.
Beautiful post! Thanks for humoring me.
