Is there anyone else who is on pins and needles waiting for the Royal Baby?
- Check engine light in my car went off. We think it had to do with the gas cap.
- Oven is fixed and in working order.
- Paid a big chunk of the Dentist bill (although I missed the mail yesterday, so the check will actually go out on Monday)
- The overhead console control unit in G-man's car fell off (tabs snapped). Replacement will be $55. We tried to epoxy it, but it didn't work.
- Tried to sell Sassy's old bedroom set on Craiglist, but the people who were interested blew us off.
- G-man's dentist appointment was cancelled due to loss of power at the office (he was going to pay the bill while he was there).
- The heat this week has meant the AC is working overtime. I am NOT looking forward to the electric bill!

ReplyDeleteHave you every sold anything on a facebook local yard sale site? That might be an option for Sassy's bedroom suite. I have sold a TON of baby furniture on our local facebook site this week after getting NO interest on Craigslist. Just thought I would throw that idea out for you.

I invested in a few box fans this year in addition to our ceiling fans. They have made a huge difference. And our power bill is about $50 less than it was for the same period last summer. Some of that is that we were able to go almost 4 days around the 4th without using the AC because it was so rainy, but I know the fans helped the other days!
