Another long week means my brain can't handle a "real" post....so it is time for.....
FLUFFY FRIDAY!!!!
Time to get to know something about me, and I get to know something about you!!! Play along and post your answers in the comments.
1) Are still enjoying Spring, or are you already in Summer mode?
2) Name 3 things that are in your car right now that shouldn't be there (if you don't have a car, pick any spot where "stuff" collects).
3) What is the last thing you spent money on (doesn't matter the form, or how much....if you paid for something, it counts).
********
1) Still in Spring mode. I haven't planted my plants yet (good thing, because we had a freeze the other night). Still have yardwork to do, and I can't even think about wearing shorts yet (not that I wear them ANYWHERE except in the house).
2) I really try to keep my car "clean", but I have an empty drink cup, a box of envelopes for PTA, and a box of empty bottles that need to be recycled!
3) I had to think about this for a minute. We were at science fair last night, and bookfair. Did I buy anything......nope. So the last purchase was $33.59 at the gas station ($30 in gas, and $3.59 for drink and breakfast).
Happy Fluffy Friday!!!!
I'm still in spring mode. It seems like it just got here and I don't have my garden in yet. 3 random things in my car are my daughter's headbands, my spring coat and my daughter's sneakers. The last thing I spent money on was groceries--about $60.
ReplyDelete1) My closet says I'm in between. I still have out long sleeves and just hung up a few short sleeves. The weather is flippin crazy lately here in Jersey. (60 Monday 80 Thursday)
ReplyDelete2) An empty car clip, dead flowers (the little ones for trees and bushes my kids grab at the bus stop), a whole lot of toys.
3) Some summer colored glitters to do my acrylics with (my hobby) & incense & candles (ebay)
1) I am still loving the spring (well, just not the allergy part that is kicking my behind), but I am in no hurry to get to 100+ degree weather. I'm fine with the 70's and low 80's, thank you very much.
ReplyDelete2) Three things in my car... the ice scrapper in the front pocket, an empty pack of gum that is supposed to be a reminder to get more gum (it's been empty for about 2mo now) and my winter blanket that I need to wash/pack away.
3) Ashamed to say, I went to subway ($7.51). Poor planning did me in at -1 meal for the week, and I was getting smashed by allergies and didn't feel like cooking a big meal as I wont be at this house for the next 3 nights (working those days).
Have a good weekend!
Great fluff
ReplyDelete1 - spring 70's during the day and 40's at night so I still wear a hoodie to work in the AM
2 - Like Tanner, an empty gum pack and a snowbrush, I think there is also a cup lid and a straw from an old drink
3 - 1.08 this am on my 7-11 big gulp of "love"
1. Loving spring and low humidity! Sat on the patio this morning reading the paper. Mosquitoes aren't even here yet!!
ReplyDelete2. A bag of clothes that needs to go to Goodwill. It's been in the back of the van for a month and I pass Goodwill nearly every day. Need to tape a reminder note to the steering wheel :)
3. $3.16 on a gallon of milk.
Enjoy your day!
Sarah
1. I am still in spring mode....
ReplyDelete2. There is a granola bar paper wrapper, a used taco bell gift card, and a coat in the van.
3. I just spent $10 on 4 gallons of milk this morning at Kroger!
Hope you have a great day!
1. I am still very much in Spring mode...still so cold here...
ReplyDelete2. I have empty bottles that I need to put in a container to later resale - I have a coat and a lot of dust!!!
3. I just spend $8 on fast food :(
Have a great day!
1) still Spring mode for me. Hoping to plant flowers in the barrels and window boxes at the end of the month.
ReplyDelete2) My car is really clean inside, nothing that shouldn't be there. At least I can do one thing right! LOL
3)$15 dinner last night at McD's for DD and DH (and a milkshake for me). I just had my root canal and didn't feel like eating and DS just ended up having a pb&j
1) Very pleasant spring temperatures out here in northern California. The heat is coming, but we're enjoying our high 70s and 80s while we have them.
ReplyDelete2) I am really neurotic about keeping my car uncluttered and tidy, so nothing is allowed to collect in there.
3) $31.05 at Target for 2 large bags of black sunflower seeds for the birds/squirreals that visit our deck and some sherbert for DH.
I'm with you, Mysti - my brain is too tired for anything by Friday night - love the Fluffy Friday!
ReplyDelete1) Here, we're just entering Winter mode *sob*! Have just turned the heating on for the first time this week, gearing up for the cold months ahead!
(2) Oh my goodness...my poor car is the spare wardrobe / office / shed etc. Currently: library books, coats & skateboards should all be unpacked but are not!
(3) A $9 pass to the indoor skateboarding centre...great value on a cold, wet, rainy day!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!
Ahh.. I like fluffy friday! :) Here goes...
ReplyDelete1) Are still enjoying Spring, or are you already in Summer mode? *I'm definitely in spring/summer mode.... I don't wear a lot of shorts though 'cause i'm always cold, so mostly capri's with tanks & light button downs. :)
2) Name 3 things that are in your car right now that shouldn't be there (if you don't have a car, pick any spot where "stuff" collects). *Hmm... no car, so 3 spots that there shouldn't be stuff: coffee table (collects clutter and drives me crazy) mud room (lots of kids stuff, outdoor toys, etc) bathroom counter.
3) What is the last thing you spent money on (doesn't matter the form, or how much....if you paid for something, it counts). *I just bought an awesome new sewing machine!! Just under $1K! Ouch! But I love it!!

ReplyDeleteThis is Miami, we only have two seasons- Cold Summer and Hot Summer.
2) Name 3 things that are in your car right now that shouldn't be there (if you don't have a car, pick any spot where "stuff" collects).
I know there is an empty glass I keep meaning to bring down and a Coke lid for Coke Rewards. Oh and there's one more hairbrush in there than there should be.

I just took advantage of a huge sale at WEBS on some yarn-- $44.99 for 10 hanks of Cascade 220 with free shipping. That is a seriously fantastic price.
