The Good: - We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner (and the turkey was AWESOME. Here is the recipe for the brine: Orange-Tea-Bourbon Brine.
- Got part of the outside decorations up (don't ask me why we didn't do it all).
- Resisted an impulse purchase of new furniture.
The Bad:- Having too many non-functional, small pieces of extra furniture makes Christmas decorating harder.
- Spent $30 to replace Sassy's fish tank that I broke last week.
The Ugly:
- G-man broke his cell phone (cracked screen). We have insurance, but it was $99 for a replacement.
The GREAT:
- My kids still love to cuddle.
