Sunday Night Chit-Chat - September 9, 2012

See this....this is what I had to deal with today.  One of our cats caught this little gem and brought it to Mommy in his mouth.  Wasn't that sweet of him?  NOT!!!!!!!   It was still alive.....the kids thought this was so cool. He kept batting at it....ugh.

And here is a picture of our very sleepy mouser...he is declawed on all four paws (we got him that way), so he must have been on his game today.

Tonight's Chit Chat....

Reading:  I just finished the third book in the Fifty Shades Series.  I have The Hunger Games waiting for me when I am ready to start a new book.

Watching: I DVRed "Coma" last week on A&E...so maybe I will watch that.

Listening to: Scooby Doo!  It is Sassy's turn to pick the show right now, much to the dismay of her brother.  CRAP....while I was typing this, Bossy changed the channel....anyone want to guess what is coming on? No...it isn't Dora (thank goodness!!)

Cooking/Baking: Nothing.  We have been picking at stuff all weekend.  I am hoping to get something prepped for the crockpot for tomorrow though.

Happy you accomplished today:  I wouldn't call it ACCOMPLISHED...but I pulled out my fall decor!  My problem...I don't remember how to put some of the vignettes together.  So now I am back to square one, trying this and that....trying to make it look decent.  Some day I will have a Pottery Barn house.  Today is not the day.

Looking forward to next week: Open house at school is on Wednesday.  Payday.  MAYBE if I am lucky, I will get to play catch up at work!

Thankful for today: The beautiful weather!  I am sick of the air conditioner.  I want to open windows and feel the breeze.  It was gorgeous here today.

*Bonus Question*
What is something you've been procrastinating on and really should just do it and get it over with already?  I have a couple of small things....like the last pile of junk items that still need sorting that have been on my office table forever.  Or writing out what I put in the bag to go to Goodwill.  If we are going into bigger projects....my attic is a disaster again!!!!

Thanks to Carla for hosting!!

  1. What a lovely treat by your mouser. Now you don't have to cook supper. My maine coone is front declawed too and manages to catch quite regularly.
