Another quiet week!
The Good:
- Figured out "Santa" present for Sassy.
- Got my crown, so dental stuff is finally DONE (other than paying for it!)
- Got a "free" zucchini and it is huge! Debating on zucchini muffins or grilled veggies.
- Since we consolidated our debts....we get less mail, and what we get is mostly junk.
The Bad:
- It has been warm here, so the a/c has been running WAY more than I would like.
- Gas prices seem to on the rise again....should have called to reset the oil budget a few weeks ago, but I was waiting to see if the prices were going to continue to go down. I was wrong!
- Can't see to just finish Bossy's room (we are at the 90% mark!)
The Ugly:
- Feeling like I want to go shopping.....not for anything in particular, just to go and spend money.
- Realizing that summer is half over.
You know the deal....what are your GBUs this week???
Glad your crown is done - a good job over with! Looking forward to pics of Bossy's room! (and I did my GBUs on my blog...)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link love.
DeleteI would make zucchini bread, but I am not much of a baker, so it probably wouldn't turn out well. :)
ReplyDeleteCan you go shopping for the Santa present for Sassy yet? That may take care of the urge to shop for a little bit.
I am leaning towards the muffins myself. Except that requires turning on the oven.
DeleteWe could go shopping for Sassy (we have the Christmas savings account started)...but it is the type of item that tends to go on sale toward the holidays. Probably better to wait.
I am concentrating on cleaning up...hoping seeing it all clean will squelch the shopping bugs.
Can't wait to see pics of room :)
ReplyDeleteCan you treat yourself to a small indulgence by shopping? If we don't spend every once in awhile on something we want, we can end up going out of control. At least, that's me...
ReplyDeleteSo what did you decide to get her? I am going to have a tough time on dd this year - I just know it! haha...
ReplyDeletestay strong & try not to shop :)
Was having an interesting day so thought about you and your GBU. It's Wednesday but thought I would play along anyway! When I feel like shopping I give myself a limit--say $10--and go thrift store shopping! I am able to browse for an hour or more and still get out of the store for under my budgeted amount:) My GBU is at
