In honor of my upcoming blogiversary (2 years on Saturday!), I am proud to announce my first give away!
Novica.com, a fabulous site that strives to unite artisans through out the world with YOU, has generously sponsored this giveaway to allow you to meet their artisans and partake in some beautiful goods. Their mission (from their website):
We want to give artists and artisans around the world a global platform to express their true artistic talents and to spur their creativity. And, we want to provide you with access to unique, hard-to-find items at great values that only the Internet infrastructure can allow.
I will be reviewing some products shortly, but wanted to get the party started NOW! If you are interested in entering this giveaway for a $50 gift code to the site, to purchase anything from clothes, scarves, jewelry to home goods, spiritual items, and more....then here are the rules:
1) Contest will close at 7pm (east coast time) on 8/8/11 (that's Monday).
2) Anonymous entries will not be honored.
3) The winner will have 48 hrs to respond to me. In the case that the first winner fails to contact me, another winner will be chosen.
So, how do you enter? I don't Facebook or Twitter, but I want to allow you to have a few chances. Each of the following ways will gain you one entry into the contest (just make sure you leave them as separate comments).
1) Follow my blog (it's at the bottom....keep scrolling!). If you already are a follower, then leave me a comment that says so. If you aren't, then become a new follower, and THEN leave a comment!
2) Check out Novica.com, and let me know what you are interested in. I will warn ya, it is soooo easy to want it all!
3) Tell me one talent you have....c'mon, we all have them. Don't be shy!
4) Tell me why you read this blog....the good or the bad. Am I just a train wreck and you can't look away???
So that is it folks. You have up to 4 ways to enter. Get to it. And Good Luck!!!!
Mysti,
ReplyDeleteI'll be writing about this too. I'm not as generous as you are, however, I kept the gift all to myself. I'm waiting for my Urban Legend Handbag to arrive any day, and I'll be posting about it. NOVICA has found a bunch of us because Carla had one too!
It really is a neat site, one that I never would have heard of otherwise.
There is some jewelery I had my eye on, so I think I'll enter this contest too!
Already a follower, chickie, LOVE your blog!
I am a GFC subscriber
ReplyDeleteI love their blown glass tableware!
ReplyDeleteMy talent, hmmm. That is a tough one. I have a photographic memory, but as I get older it is tougher to call it to action
ReplyDeleteI've been drooling over their bags.
ReplyDeleteI'm a talented musician, particularly at listening to and figuring out how the music fits what else is going on during it.
ReplyDeleteI read your blog to see how someone else with family challenges is trying to get out of debt.
ReplyDeleteI read you blog because I have a connection to you on so many levels. I am the train coming in the opposite direction.
ReplyDeleteTalents: Sing, Dance, play the piano, sew, design, direct, write plays and musicals.
I am a jack of all trades and a master at NONE!
My hubby says I am a jerk of all trades! Funny man.
You already know that I follow your blog!
ReplyDeleteI would either get something for the home, like their candles, or jewelry as a treat : )
ReplyDeleteMy talent is I can flip my tongue upside down. Apparently there are a few people who can do this, but it's rare. And I used to like to impress guys that way (skank?)
ReplyDeleteyou are a train wreck and i can't help looking :P
ReplyDeletebut mostly, when you're in debt, it's hard sometimes to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and your blog has helped me to keep on trekking when it was furthest thing from my mind. no matter what obstacles you face, you tackle them head on--and with a chainsaw.
I am already a follower of your blog.
ReplyDeleteI follow it because I like to read about other people working to get out of debt like I am. And I like to pop in and provide random encouragement.

ReplyDeleteI guess my talent would be cards. I was born into a family that started me playing young and I have a pretty good feel for odds and where everyone is when we play.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking on the site for various things my GF would enjoy. There's a lot. And since she's going to be moving in soon, having something that we got together... to start off our lives together... would be nice. So I would probably sit down with her and we'd pick the final object out together.
ReplyDeleteIt will probably be something from the decor area since I have nothing like that in my house. Maybe a welcome sign. I can't be sure... she's the more artistic one and would probably find something she couldn't live without. LOL
I follow your blog because of many reason, but the primary one is be a cheerleader and commiserator because we are in this battle to be debt free.
ReplyDeleteNow, what is my talent - I have fantastic memory recall. I can recall a detail from many years ago. But what is funny - my short term memory is not that terrific, but long term, long ago stuff - no problem.

ReplyDeleteI checked out the website -- and I'm really loving all the gorgeous earrings! I tend to not wear rings or bracelets to work because they seem to get in the way of typing and such, but I'm all about a fabulous pair of earrings!

I don't think your life is a train wreck either! A lady once told me that anyone that says they have a perfect life is a perfect liar! There are always ups and downs, a person just hopes that you average out on the up!
