How is it that I wrote 6 bills out last night.....remember those little pieces of paper called checks....and of it all...only $100 was debt? But once I added in the interest that we have accumulated, we actually went backward by $100. I hate being at a stand still right now. VERY FRUSTRATING.
Car update....G-man wants to fix the car to the tune of $2500. He feels it is the quickest and easiest solution....which it is. But is it the right solution? I know he is out of town right now, and it is an added complication. But I found what I think is a perfect truck, for only $200 more. I really think we should explore that option more. He just wants it over and done with. I am convinced in a few months, something else will go, and then we will just be out the money.
I really need to get EVERYTHING back on track....our finance, our life together......this is so so hard. One of the hardest things I have ever done.
We just went through the whole car thing. Twice. Both of our cars bit the dust in February...one a motor, the other a transmission. Both were 1996 vehicles so there was no question about whether to fix or not. I'm not sure what we would have done in your situation.

ReplyDeletei agree you should explore other options. 2500 to fix a car is pretty steep to me.
Too late. He decided he didn't want to deal with the hassle and ok'ed the repair. I told him if his car breaks down again, he is screwed. He said fine.
